METERING A FLOW OF A FLUID THROUGH A CYLINDRICAL TUBE SECTION

For metering a flow of a fluid through a cylindrical tube section (2), a flow deviating body (7) is arranged in the tube section (2) such that an annular flow channel (16) remains between an outer diameter (14) of the flow deviating body (7) and an inner diameter (15) of the cylindrical tube section (2). A high pressure of the fluid is tapped at a front point of the flow deviating body (7), and a low pressure of the fluid in the annular flow channel (16) is tapped at at least one point at the outer diameter (14) of the flow deviating body (7). At least one of (i) both the high pressure and the low pressure, and (ii) a pressure difference between the high pressure and the low pressure is transduced into electric signals.
