The purpose it to provide a display device and an electronic apparatus having a touch detection function which can perform touch detection while restraining viewing moire stripes in a display panel by a touch detection electrode. A plurality of touch detection electrode of the display device equipped with a touch detection function include a touch detection electrode; and a dummy electrode installed in an area without touch detection electrode about the direction vertical to a surface of a substrate. The dummy electrode includes a first-direction slit which is an area without a light-transmitting electrical conductor and is divided into many in order for a dummy electrode piece to be adjacent in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction; and a second-direction slit which is an area without a light-transmitting electrical conductor and is divided into many in order for a dummy electrode piece to be adjacent in the first direction. |
