The present invention provides a measurement device for measuring the length of an electric wire used as a communication line or a power supply line. The measurement device is a device for measuring the length of a wire using an encoder as a converter for outputting an analog value, such as a rotation angle and a position movement amount, in an electric coded signal treated like a digital value. The device comprises: a base; a transfer unit having a pair of transfer tools composed of a movable roll and a fixed roll on the base at the front and back sides in parallel, and a caterpillar conveyor belt installed between the fixed rolls of the two transfer tools to transfer the wire; and a measurement unit for measuring the length of the wire by being rotated while being in contact with one side of the conveyor belt under the transfer unit. Thus, the present invention can accurately measure the length of the wire. |
