1. A light-emitting diode (LED) lead frame for piercing wires having conductors surrounded by insulating material, thereby making electrical contact between the lead frame and the wires, the LED lead frame comprising:
a first lead including a top portion, a middle portion, and a bottom portion, the top portion configured to make electrical connection to an LED, the middle portion being between the top portion and the bottom portion and including a first planar surface and a second planar surface, and the bottom portion including a first-cutting member for piercing a first wire; and a second lead including a top portion, a middle portion, and a bottom portion, the middle portion being between the top portion and the bottom portion and including a front planar surface and a rear planar surface, and the bottom portion including a second cutting member for piercing a second wire.
