<p>The method (400) involves detecting (401) an activity, which is linked with a function in a display unit, where the activity is an activation of the function. Information is linked (402) with the detected activity relative to the function. A reference to the detected activity is stored (403) together with the linked information in a memory e.g. EPROM memory, in a vehicle. The stored reference and the linked information are transmitted (405) to a data storage unit outside the vehicle via a wireless interface for enabling analysis of use of a function in the display unit in the vehicle.
