The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for managing security data, which are capable of preventing an accident that a user leaks security data, which companies cooperating with each other share, carelessly or intentionally to the outside. The apparatus for managing security data includes: a login module which receives an identification code and processes login; a search processing module which searches security files in task ID units stored in a storage module, outputs the searched security files in a search window, and outputs configuration security data of a selected security file in a task window depending on the login processing of the login module; a security module which decodes the security file into security data, stores the security data in a security drive set as a security zone, encodes security data stored in the security drive into a security file, and stores the security file in a non-security zone; and a processing module which controls the execution of the security data by an application program based on access authority information. |
