PURPOSE: A composition containing Dipterocarpus obtusifolius Teijsm. Ex Miq. extract for anti-aging is provided to suppress DPPH free radical generation and to ensure excellent antioxidation. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for anti-aging containing Dipterocarpus obtusifolius Teijsm. Ex Miq. extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared from Dipterocarpus obtusifolius Teijsm. Ex Miq. roots, stems, and leaves, using water, low carbon number alcohol of C1-C4, or a mixture thereof. A health food composition for anti-aging contains the extract as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition for anti-aging contains the extract as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the extract comprises: a step of adding extraction solvent to Dipterocarpus obtusifolius Teijsm. Ex Miq.; a step of cooling and filtering the extract; and a step of concentrating the extract at reduced pressure and drying. |
