Disclosed is a vortex-type local ventilator having a swirler. The disclosed vortex-type local ventilator comprises: a swirler including a rotary disc member arranged at the suction side of a ventilation pipe so as to rotate to generate a vortex, the rotary disc member having a central area including a first air-suction hole in communication with the ventilation pipe, and multiple blades arranged on the upper surface and/or lower surface of the rotary disc member; a driving unit arranged in the ventilation pipe and connected to the rotary disc member of the swirler so as to rotate the rotary disc member and the multiple blades; and a restricting means arranged in a portion of a region in the circumferential direction of the rotating central axis of the swirler so as to restrict the formation of the vortex in the portion of the region. |
