1. A composition comprising:
an aqueous continuous liquid phase; spherical silica particles dispersed in the aqueous continuous liquid phase, wherein the spherical silica particles have a volume average particle diameter of 60 nanometers or less; and a water-soluble copolymer of acrylic acid and an acrylamide, or a salt thereof, wherein the acrylamide is represented by the formulawherein R1 is H or a methyl group, and wherein a weight ratio of the acrylamide to the acrylic acid is in a range of from 20:80 to 95:5, and
wherein a weight ratio of the spherical silica particles to the water-soluble copolymer of acrylic acid and an acrylamide, or a salt thereof, is in a range of from 70:30 to 97:3, and wherein the composition has a pH of less than 3. |
