1. A warewashing cleaning composition comprising:
at least one alkali metal hydroxide present in an amount from about 21% to about 80% by weight of the cleaning composition; at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of: carboxylates, fatty alcohol sulfates, alkyl polyglycosides, sorbitan and sucrose esters and their ethoxylates, alkoxylated amines, carboxylic acid esters, carboxylic amides, ethylene oxide/propylene oxide block polymers, silicone surfactants, amines, quaternary ammonium salts, betaines, imidazolines, and propionates; water; and a polysaccharide graft polymer composition present in an amount from about 0.1% to about 15% by weight of the cleaning composition, the polysaccharide graft polymer composition comprising:
polysaccharide residue in an amount from about 5% to about 90% by weight of the polysaccharide graft polymer composition; andresidue of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer present in an amount from about 10% to about 75% by weight of the polysaccharide graft polymer composition.
