The present invention relates to a cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food composition for improving skin condition comprising a Clematis mandshurica ruprecht extract as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention increases collagen synthesis and inhibits activity of collagenase which is an enzyme for decomposing collagen, thereby having an effect on reducing wrinkles and regenerating skin. Also, the composition promotes the regeneration of cells damaged by active oxygen, thereby having an excellent effect on preventing aging skin. The composition of the present invention has no cytotoxicity and cutaneous side effects, thereby being safely applied to a cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food composition. |
