The invention provides a bed, which can prevent side fence which can be equipped removably from being installed inside out from the normal state and improve the safety of the bed. Side plates (21, 22) on the bed main body (2) of the bed (1) are installed with side fences (3) removably. The bed is characterized in that the a side fence supporting (27) of the side fence (3) is supported by a main body side supporting part (23) of the side plate, thereby the side fence (3) can be installed on the bed main body (2), and the main body supporting part (23) on the side plate is formed on the position deflected from the plate thickness center of the side plate, and a reverse installaion prevention part (28) is equpped on the side fence (3) along the inner side or outerside position of the side plate (21, 22), and the reverse installation prevention part (28) is used for preventing the side fence (3) being reversely installed on the side plate. |
