The present invention relates to an elevating cover type apparatus for packing a food container and, more particularly, to an elevating cover type apparatus for packing a food container, which places a plastic wrapper in the upper part of a food container in order to pack the container through thermosetting after vacuumization. The elevating cover type apparatus for packing a food container comprises: a base member which is formed in a seating groove where a food container is seated; a cover member which covers the upper part of the base member; a hinge unit which hinges the cover member on the base member to be able to rotate; a main heater which is mounted on the bottom of the cover member in order to be placed along the circumference of the seating groove during the descending of the cover member, and performs thermosetting of a plastic wrapper, placed in the upper part of the food container, to the edge unit of the food container; a closed curve shaped gasket which is mounted on the base member or the cover member in order to be placed at the outer side of the seating groove and the main heater; and a vacuum pump where a suction hole is formed on the inner side of the gasket. The hinge unit comprises: a rotary shaft which is formed in either the base member or the cover member; and a rotary holder which is formed in the remaining one among the base member or the cover member, in order to rotatably insert the rotary shaft. The internal space of the rotary holder where the rotary shaft is inserted is formed lengthily in the up and down direction, so that the cover member can elevate in the up and down direction when the cover member covers the upper part of the base member. |
