A compound having an acridan ring structure, wherein the compound is represented by the following Chemical Formula (4″), wherein Ar2 and Ar3 may be the same or different, and represent a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, or a substituted or unsubstituted condensed polycyclic aromatic group, where Ar2 and Ar3 may directly bind to each other via a single bond or via substituted or unsubstituted methylene, an oxygen atom, or a sulfur atom to form a ring, and substituents of Ar2 and Ar3 may bind to each other via a single bond, substituted or unsubstituted methylene, an oxygen atom, or a sulfur atom to form a ring; R1 to R7, and R10 to R13 may be the same or different, and represent a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, cyano, trifluoromethyl, nitro, linear alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, branched alkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, cycloalkyl of 5 to 10 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, linear alkenyl of 2 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, branched alkenyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, linear alkyloxy of 1 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, branched alkyloxy of 3 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, cycloalkyloxy of 5 to 10 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, a substituted or unsubstituted condensed polycyclic aromatic group, or substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy, where R1 and R2, R2 and R3, R3 and R4, R6 and R7, R10 and R11, and R12 and R13 may bind to each other via a single bond, substituted or unsubstituted methylene, an oxygen atom, or a sulfur atom to form a ring; and R8 and R9 may be the same or different, and represent trifluoromethyl, linear alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, branched alkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, cycloalkyl of 5 to 10 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, linear alkenyl of 2 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, branched alkenyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, linear alkyloxy of 1 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, branched alkyloxy of 3 to 6 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, cycloalkyloxy of 5 to 10 carbon atoms that may have a substituent, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, a substituted or unsubstituted condensed polycyclic aromatic group, or substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy, which may bind to each other via a single bond, substituted or unsubstituted methylene, an oxygen atom, or a sulfur atom to form a ring.
