PURPOSE: A backlight module adopting an asymmetric LED package is provided to reduce the optical loss by solving the problem of a misalignment and increase efficiency of the backlight module. CONSTITUTION: A backlight module(100) adopting an asymmetric LED package(40) comprises a lighting-emitting unit(44) and a housing(43). The housing forms an asymmetric structure with respect to the center of the lighting-emitting unit by having thickness increment at one side. The thickness increment is determined in a size coinciding with the thickness center of a light guide plate(60). The light guide plate is adhered to a substrate(20) by an adhesive member having thickness. |
