PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera system which outputs predetermined information by classifying the occurrence of fog or haze depending on the degree of correction, when haze correction of a video signal is required.SOLUTION: Installation position, preset position of a monitor camera, and positional information of sun are stored, a determination is made whether fog or haze has occurred or flare has occurred, based on the information of black peak value, zoom magnification, pan angle or tilt angle, and the present position of sun, and haze correction of the monitor camera is performed when fog or haze has occurred. Concentration of fog or haze is classified according to the degree of haze correction, and appropriate information is communicated to an object requiring the same, depending on the content (degree) of a class thus classified. |
