PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidant solution for conductive polymer production by which a solid electrolytic capacitor showing excellent electric properties, such as high electrostatic capacitance and low ESR can be obtained.SOLUTION: An oxidant solution for conductive polymer production comprises an organic ferric sulfonate salt in solvent. The organic ferric sulfonate salt includes, as organic sulfonic acids, a benzene sulfonic acid and a benzene disulfonic acid. The content of the benzene sulfonic acid is 90-99 mol% and the content of the benzene disulfonic acid is 1-10 mol% to the total quantity of the organic sulfonic acids. The solvent includes a base solvent consisting of alcohol solvent.
