PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing an acetylene compound with good selectivity by isomerization of an allene compound at a good conversion rate, which can stably maintain catalytic activity even under a condition where carbon dioxide is present.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an acetylene compound in which an allene compound in a mixture containing an allene compound and carbon dioxide is isomerized in the presence of a catalyst in which an alkali metal compound is supported on an alumina carrier, wherein 10-fold or more moles of a catalyst in terms of the alkali metal element contained in the catalyst is used with respect to the number of moles of the carbon dioxide supplied per hour. |
