PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the humidity of cooled air while suppressing an increase in energy consumption.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a heater 11 that causes heat exchange between air cooled by a low-pressure heat exchanger 7 and gas-phase refrigerant generated in a decompression process of a decompression device 5. The air cooled by the low-pressure heat exchanger 7 thereby exchanges heat with the gas-phase refrigerant generated in the decompression process of the decompression device 5. Therefore, the air cooled and dehumidified by the low-pressure heat exchanger 7 can be heated by heat released when the gas-phase refrigerant is cooled. Accordingly, the air cooled and dehumidified by using the refrigerant that does not contribute to cooling the air can be heated. It is therefore possible to reduce the humidity of the cooled air while suppressing an increase in energy consumption. |
