PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic pen that is usable inside and outside an imaging area, and suppresses a decrease in usable time, with respect to an interactive function.SOLUTION: An electronic pen 200 includes: a first press switch 211 which is provided at a tip part of the electronic pen 200 and accepts a press operation; an at least two axis acceleration sensor (two axis acceleration sensor 231); a displacement quantity calculation part (control part 210) which calculates a displacement quantity of the electronic pen 200 based upon acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor; a coordinate calculation part (control part 210) which calculates coordinate information based upon the displacement quantity; and a transmission part (wireless communication part 241) which transmits the coordinate information that the coordinate calculation part calculates and information on pressing of the first press switch 211.
