PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a curved grating which facilitates forming of greatly curved gratings having small curvature radii; the curved grating; a grating unit having such curved gratings; and a radiographic imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A curved grating manufacturing method includes: a grating forming step (fig. 3(B)) for forming a grating area 12a, having a plurality of identically shaped members periodically arranged therein, on one surface of a grating-forming base material 11; a stress layer forming step (fig. 3(C)) for forming a thermal stress layer 13a, having a second thermal expansion coefficient different from a first thermal expansion coefficient of the grating-forming base material 11, at least either on the one surface of the grating-forming base material 11 or the other surface thereof opposite the one surface; and a bending step (fig. 3(D)) for bending the grating-forming base material 11 using the thermal stress layer 13a.
