<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that can reduce noise.SOLUTION: The projector comprises: a projection optical device that projects light which is emitted from a light source and modulated; a fan 73 that has a rotation axis Ax, and makes air flow toward a cooling object; and an external housing that has a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface connecting the top surface to the bottom surface, and houses the projection optical device and the fan 73 inside. The fan 73 has a first suction port 751A that sucks the air, a discharging port 753A that discharges the air sucked from the first suction port 751A, and a sound insulation part 764 that is arranged at a position apart from the first suction port 751A in a direction along the rotation axis Ax, and covers a part of the first suction port 751A. On the side surface of the external housing, the first suction port 751A is arranged at a facing position, and the sound insulation part 764 is arranged on a top surface side of the external housing in the first suction port 751A.</p> |
