<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up display performance of a map.SOLUTION: A map display device searches for map information stored to a map information database 111 inside a server 100 from a client 200 side and displays it to a screen. A database has a function of a spatial database where the map information database can perform search and extraction by a coordinate area. Map information whose mesh ID is changed according to a screen size of the display screen of a client side by coordinates of the mesh ID necessary for the display screen calculated by a display mesh calculation function part 206 on the basis of a mesh size necessary for a display screen calculated by a mesh size calculation function part 205 provided for the client side and the mesh size necessary for the display screen is displayed to the display screen of the client side.</p> |
