PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the rotation of a union nut with respect to a joint main body even if the union nut is fastened to the resin-made joint main body more than necessary.SOLUTION: This union joint 1 has a resin-made joint main body 2 and a union nut 3 rotatably attached to the joint main body 2 as main parts. Then, a rib 21 is formed at one end of the joint main body 2, a locking part 32 which can be engaged with the rib 21 of the joint main body 2 is formed at the union nut 3, and a guide groove 33 having an inside diameter larger than an outside diameter of the rib 21 and a width narrower than a width of the rib is formed along the locking part 32. By this constitution, even if an external peripheral edge of the rib 21 which is pressed against the locking part 32 is crushed and swollen to the outside by the excessive fastening of the union nut 3, the swollen part can be accommodated in the guide groove 33. |
