PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo freezer that can ensure that an ejector has a sufficient oil collecting function and that can continue to stably operate by controlling the pressure of driving gas for the ejector.SOLUTION: A turbo freezer including an evaporator 3 that evaporates refrigerant by removal of heat from cold water to exhibit a freezing effect; a turbo compressor 1 that compresses the refrigerant by impellers; and a condenser 2 that cools the compressed refrigerant and condenses the resultant refrigerant, comprises: an ejector 20 that vacuums oil-containing refrigerant stagnant in the evaporator 3 and collects the oil-containing refrigerant in an oil tank of the turbo compressor 1 with the refrigerant gas discharged from the turbo compressor 1 used as driving gas; a control valve that is installed in a refrigerant supply pipe 5BP supplying the refrigerant gas from the turbo compressor 1 to the ejector 20 and that controls a pressure of the refrigerant gas flowing in the refrigerant supply pipe 5BP; and a control device 10 that controls an opening of the control valve 21. |
