PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a crowning shape at two points along tooth trace direction on a tooth of a gear by honing process.SOLUTION: When applying a honing process to a gear material 10 in which a first teeth array 13 and a second teeth array 14, in which a plurality of teeth 13a, 14a are arrayed in circumferential direction, are provided at two points in axial direction, a gear honing grinder 20 is used which is provided with a first transfer teeth array 23, in which a first transfer tooth 23a of a shape 25 corresponding to a crowning shape applied to the tooth 13a of the first teeth array 13 is arrayed in circumferential direction, and a second transfer teeth array 24, in which a second transfer tooth 24a of a shape 26 corresponding to a crowning shape provided to a tooth 14a of the second teeth array 14 is arrayed in circumferential direction. |
