PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector including a light source device having further extended life, while facilitating manufacturing and improving a degree of design freedom.SOLUTION: The projector comprises: a light source device 31; an external housing storing the light source device 31 and including an opening through which the light source device is attached and detached; and a cover member closing the opening. The light source device 31 comprises: a light source emitting light; a connection line 315 for supplying electric power to the light source; and a housing for a light source 5 storing the light source and the connection line 315. At least a part of the connection line 315 is provided on the side where the cover member of the housing for a light source 5 is arranged and the housing for a light source 5 includes a cover-side forming part covering the cover member sides of the light source and the connection line 315 and a flow path 11 for guiding cooling air to the cover part 722 of the cover-side forming part. |
