PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an insulator for a spark plug capable of easily performing print setup and improving an ink yield.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an insulator for a spark plug comprises a glaze application step 100, a printing step 300, and a calcination step 400. The glaze application step 100 applies a glaze slurry containing a glaze glass to a surface of the insulator. The printing step 300 prints a print pattern by discharging an ink to the insulator location to which the glaze slurry has been applied using an ink-jet printer. The calcination step 400 forms a glaze layer made of a glaze glass on a surface of the insulator which has passed through the glaze application step 100 and the printing step 300 by heating the insulator. |
