PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive membrane cartridge capable of increasing fatigue-resistant strength by a simple configuration by focusing on an attitude of fusion of a filtration membrane to a filter plate, and a method of manufacturing the membrane cartridge.SOLUTION: In a membrane cartridge, a filtration membrane 10 is joined to a surface of a thermoplastic resin filter plate 9 by a joint 11 of its peripheral edge. The joint 11, which has at least an inner edge P1 formed as a descending slope with an angle of 10-45 degrees toward a peripheral edge end P3 of the filtration membrane 10 with respect to an inside filter plate surface P2, is pressed and welded by using a hot plate comprising such an inclined surface part or an ultrasonic horn. |
