PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rise of a DC voltage between inverters following sudden stop of a motor in a series hybrid system.SOLUTION: First and second inverters 14, 16 are connected in series to an engine 11 through a generator 13. A capacitor 15 is connected between the inverters 14, 16, and a motor 17 is controlled by the inverter 16. Voltage detection parts 24, 34 are provided, for detecting voltage rise exceeding a voltage threshold value on DC terminals of the inverters 14, 16 when the motor 17 is stopped, and if an overvoltage is detected, the overvoltage is prevented by vector-controlling a field current by controllers 25, 35 inside the inverters 14, 16. |
