PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for increasing the accuracy of pre-equalization in an optical transmitter for transmitting an optical signal.SOLUTION: A transmission bit acquisition unit 2020 acquires a transmission bit to be transmitted. An intensity modulation unit 2040 performs intensity modulation of an optical signal according to the transmission bit. A transmission history storage unit 2060 stores a transmission history indicating at least an immediately preceding transmission bit. A phase modulation unit 2100 acquires the transmission history from the transmission history storage unit 2060, and applies, on the basis of the acquired transmission history and the transmission bit acquired by the transmission bit acquisition unit 2020, phase modulation to an optical signal transmitted by an optical transmitter 2000. |
