PURPOSE: A horizontal scroll compressor is provided to enable an oil separator to separate refrigerant and oil discharged from a compression room in a fourth space part, thereby preventing effectively a large amount of oil from being leaked to the outside of the horizontal scroll compressor. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal scroll compressor comprises a casing, a driving motor, a crank shaft, and a compression unit. A discharge pipe is connected to the internal space of the casing. The crank shaft is coupled to the rotator of the driving motor. The compression part includes an orbiting scroll and a fixing scroll. A differential pressure separation plate (115) is provided on the internal space of the casing and separates space between the driving motor and an oil pump (119) to form an oil separation space in an oil pump side. The differential pressure separation plate has an exhaust hole (1151) and an oil hole (1152) through which refrigerant and oil passes. An oil separator (117) is provided in the oil separation space side of the differential pressure separation plate to separate oil from refrigerant flowing through the exhaust hole. |
