PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a check valve having a compact inexpensive structure; and a diaphragm pump using the check valve.SOLUTION: A check valve includes: a valve seat 81 having a through hole 81a; a ball valve 84 to open/close communication of a fluid from the through hole 81a; and a valve case 83 to cover the ball valve 84 so as to be movable between a position to open the communication of the fluid and a position to close the communication of the fluid. The valve case 83 has at least one slit part 83b formed in the direction of movement of the ball valve 84. The slit part 83b permits communication of a fluid whose maximum width is smaller than the diameter of the ball valve 84. |
