<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable degradation over time of an organic EL panel to be manually adjusted.SOLUTION: A normal display area and a normal non-display area are set on a display screen of an organic EL panel 106, and in a normal display mode, an input image is displayed in the normal display area and the normal non-display area is put into a non-display. In an adjustment mode, a video signal process part 104 supplies an adjustment image from a normal display area image generation part 107 to a bright adjustment part 105. The bright adjustment part 105 adjusts luminance of the adjustment image according to an adjustment value to be stored in an adjustment value memory 108. A normal non-display area image generation part 109 generates an object image to be displayed in the normal non-display area. The organic EL panel 106 displays the adjustment image adjusted by the bright adjustment part 105 in the normal display area, and displays the object image in the normal non-display area. A user instructs a control part 101 to change the adjustment value by an operation part 110 so that luminance of both images coincides with each other.</p> |
