PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of reducing a throughput of equipment at an output destination of an image.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 30 includes a transmission part 305 which outputs a sub-image displayed on a display part 303 to the outside and a character recognition part 321 which detects a minimum character size included in the sub-image, and the transmission part 305 outputs data indicating the minimum character size together with the sub-image.
