PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding which is made easily visible in a dark place and can surely be detected by a metal detector and to provide a production method of the molding.SOLUTION: The molding 1 includes: a body 2 molded into a tubular shape; and a marking layer 3 which is molded integrally with the body 2 on the outside surface 2a of the body 2 and contains a luminescent material and a metallic material. It does not matter if the marking layer 3 is arranged in a linear shape in the P direction of the outside surface 2a of the body 2, the marking layer 3 is arranged so as to cover the whole of the outside surface 2a of the body 2 in the R direction, or the marking layers 3 are arranged with a certain interval in the P direction of the outside surface 2a of the body 2.
