PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling effect of a coil, which is a movable element of a linear motor, with a simple structure in a component mounting machine where an XY gantry equipped with a component holding head is driven by the linear motor.SOLUTION: In a component mounting machine, an XY gantry is equipped with a component holding head and the XY gantry is driven by a linear motor 50 in which a coil 51 is formed as a movable element. A regenerative unit 70 which stores regenerative electric power of the linear motor 50 and coil cooling means 80 which is driven by the electric power supplied from the regenerative unit 70 are disposed at the coil 51 side. The coil 51, the regenerative unit 70, and the coil cooling means 80 are integrated. |
