PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser machining apparatus capable of projecting a reference pattern onto a machining area of an object of machining so that the reference pattern can be discerned, and drawing a highly discernible print pattern prior to printing.SOLUTION: Included are a laser oscillation unit that emits laser light, a laser scanning unit that scans the laser light over the machining surface of the object of machining, a visible coherent light source that is disposed closer to the side of the laser oscillation unit than the laser scanning unit on the optical path of the laser light and emits visible coherent light to the optical path, a diffraction optical element that is disposed closer to the side of the object of machining than the laser scanning unit on the optical path of the laser light and projects a reference pattern on a machining effective area of the object of machining using the visible coherent light fed via the laser scanning unit, and a control unit that drives or controls the laser scanning unit. |
