<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector configured to properly detect a liquid level even if liquid having different capacitance characteristics is supplied.SOLUTION: The liquid level detector includes: a cylindrical housing; a first electrode 36 which is installed in the housing, and has an oblong rectangle shape having a side from a bottom face of a fuel tank 14 along a top surface direction as a long side; a second electrode 38 which is arranged opposite the first electrode, and is formed to expand upward from the bottom face side of the fuel tank 14; and a float 34 of a material having permittivity higher than that of a fuel so as to ignore capacitance change due to change in fuel property (change in alcohol concentration).</p> |
