<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribe line processing device, a scribe line processing method, and a method of manufacturing a plate glass such that when a scribe line is processed on a plate-like glass which is thinner in plate thickness than before, the plate-like glass is prevented from cracking, and contact pressure of a scribe chip to the plate-like glass can be held constant.SOLUTION: A scribe line processing device 7 processes a scribe line K2 orthogonal to a conveying direction X of a glass ribbon 4 by displacing a scribe chip 8, to the glass ribbon 4 conveyed in a horizontal direction while having one main surface supported by conveyor rollers 5, 5, ..., obliquely to the conveying direction X of the glass ribbon 4 while pressing the scribe chip 8 against an upper surface of the glass ribbon 4. The scribe line processing device has a blow device 9 which blows air to a lower surface of the glass ribbon 4 at a scribe part S as a displacement area of the scribe chip 8, and the blow device 9 floats and holds at least a part of the lower surface of the glass ribbon 4 with air pressure.</p> |
