<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus which is capable of carrying a to-be-recorded medium by AC electrification of a conveyor belt and suppresses poor conveyance due to effects of water in carrying the medium while attempting miniaturization of the apparatus.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus includes a conveyor belt 3 which has an inner layer I and an outer layer O containing a hydrophobic material and carries a to-be-recorded medium while causing a support surface F arranged on the outer layer O to hold the medium, an electrification part 10 of the conveyor belt 3, a line head 6 and at least one of a capping unit 9 and a wiping unit 7 arranged at a position opposite to the support surface F of the conveyor belt 3. A distance L2 (L3) between at least one of the capping unit 9 and the wiping unit 7 and the support surface F when an ink is discharged onto the medium is longer than a distance L1 between the nozzle of the line head 6 and the support surface F when the ink is discharged onto the medium, and the electrification part 10 AC-electrifies the outer layer O at a frequency of 10-200 Hz.</p> |
