<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate accumulated media with high accuracy.SOLUTION: In a separation portion 25 of a bank bill cassette 17, a first gate G1 is formed between a feed roller 32 and a first gate roller 52, and a second gate G2 is formed between the feed roller 32 and a second gate roller 62. Even when an uppermost bank bill BL1 and a second bank bill BL2 are allowed, in a first gate G1, to pass through the first gate G1 because of a large friction force N2 between the uppermost bank bill BL1 and the second bank bill BL2, the separation portion 25 can cause the second gate roller 62 to apply an additional friction force N4 in the second gate G2 while causing the first gate roller 52 to still apply a friction force N3. The bank bill cassette 17 thus allows inhibiting approach of the second bank bill BL2 in the second gate G2 and carrying separately the bank bill BL1 on the uppermost surface alone.</p> |
