PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge tube having a discharge trigger film which is not porous but dense, and not containing polymer, and the like.SOLUTION: A discharge tube includes a ceramic cylinder 2, and a pair of sealing electrodes 3 for closing the openings at both ends of the ceramic cylinder, and sealing a discharge control gas internally. A discharge trigger film 4 is formed partially on the inner surface of the ceramic cylinder, and the discharge trigger film is a continuous film composed of a continuous carbon material embedding the fine irregularities on the inner surface of the ceramic cylinder. The carbon material preferably contains carbon nanotubes. |
