PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development having reduced a volatile organic compound, and a manufacturing method of the toner.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner for electrostatic charge image development that contains a binder resin including a styrene resin, where a density of toluene measured by headspace gas chromatography mass spectrometry is 1 ppm or less; a density of benzaldehyde converted by using a toluene correction factor is 1 ppm or less; a value obtained by dividing a density of styrene by a density of ethylbenzene is 5 or less; a density of the total volatile organic compound is less than 100 ppm, which is indicated by the sum of a density converted from the peak area of a volatile organic compound identified between n-hexane and n-hexadecane measured by headspace gas chromatography mass spectrometry and a density converted from the peak area of the volatile organic compound not identified between n-hexane and n-hexadecane. Also provided is a manufacturing method of the toner for electrostatic charge image development. |
