PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a folder for storing a mail relating to a broadcast mail, at a proper timing.SOLUTION: A mail processing unit 40 stores a broadcast mail transmitted from a transmission source to a plurality of destinations, into a main folder in a mail DB 32. When receiving a request for creation of a reply mail to the broadcast mail, from a client 20, the mail processing unit 40 transmits data of a reply screen including selection information ("reply (sorting of relevant mails)" button and "reply (sorting of all mails)" button) for making the client 20 select whether a folder for storing mails relevant to the broadcast mail should be created or not, to the client 20. When receiving information of the mail created on the reply screen from the client 20, the mail processing unit 40 creates a folder for sorting of relevant mails or all mails if the information of the mail includes information indicating that the ("reply (sorting of relevant mails)" button or the "reply (sorting of all mails)" button has been pressed. |
