<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member that prevents a lubricant interposed between an inner peripheral surface of a fixing belt and a pressing member from leaking from an end part of the fixing belt and that can maintain lubricity of a sliding surface for a long period, and a fixing device.SOLUTION: A seal member 1 used for a fixing part comprises: a fixing belt; and a pressing member provided inside the fixing belt and pressing the fixing belt against a pressure roller. The seal member has its both end portions fixed to the pressing member to form a substantially U-shape, and includes a substantially U-shaped outer peripheral surface having a seal surface 12 sliding while adhering tightly to the inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt.</p> |
