<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and a cooking assist method for assisting cooking.SOLUTION: According to a portable terminal 100, a microphone 103 collects cooking sounds generated in a kitchen, and a control unit 109 extracts guidance information corresponding to the cooking sounds from a guidance information storage part 106 on the basis of the cooking sounds. A display part 104 informs a user by displaying the extracted guidance information. For example, when the microphone 103 collects sound of breaking eggs, the control unit 109 controls the display part 104 to display guidance information for beating eggs. Thus, appropriate guidance in accordance with cooking sounds, such as cutting vegetables or making cutlet, can be provided.</p> |
