PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing lithium fluoride powder, in which the lithium fluoride powder having low moisture content can be produced.SOLUTION: The method for producing lithium fluoride powder comprises: a preparation step of preparing an aqueous solution which contains at least one lithium compound selected from the group consisting of lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, lithium nitrate, lithium chloride and lithium sulfate and the pH of which is adjusted to 4 or lower; a reaction step of reacting hydrogen fluoride with the lithium compound in the aqueous solution to obtain a precipitate containing lithium fluoride; a filtration step of filtering the precipitate; and a drying step of drying the filtered precipitate at 150-500°C under a nitrogen atmosphere in such a state that the pH of the water stuck to the precipitate is 4 or lower. |
