An emotional information providing method of a server comprises the following steps: a step wherein the server extracts text-based messages of a sender from a first database by using a unique number of the sender, infers first emotional information from the extracted text-based messages, and stores the inferred first emotional information in a second database; a step wherein the server receives a unique sending terminal number, which is transmitted from a sending terminal of the sender, and a unique receiving terminal number of a receiver through a communication server; a step wherein the server reads the first emotional information stored in the second database by using the unique sending terminal number corresponding to the unique number of the sender; and a step wherein the server transmits information about the sender including the first emotional information to a receiving terminal corresponding to the unique receiving terminal number through the communication server.
