PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, electronic equipment, and a manufacturing method of a display device capable of reducing a risk that foreign matters enter into the inside of the device.SOLUTION: A display device displaying images on a display face includes: a liquid crystal panel having a first through hole formed at a position surrounded by the display face; a backlight that is arranged opposite to the liquid crystal panel, and has a second through hole formed at a position overlapped with the first through hole; and a cap having a cylinder part that is inserted into the first through hole and second through hole and has a third through hole parallel to the first through hole and second through hole formed therein, and a flange part that is formed at least at one end of the cylinder part and has an outer edge larger than that of the first through hole and second through hole.
